Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is found in the body, both in men and women. It is a peptide hormone that plays a number of different roles. Women are advised to buy chorionic Gonadotropin in the early stages of pregnancy, as it is vital for creating the right hormonal conditions that allow the egg to be implanted. In men, Gonadotropin acts as a form of luteinizing hormone (LH), which prompts specialized cells to secrete testosterone. Therefore, this hormone helps to increase the level of testosterone after the end of the course of anabolic steroids.

Use of Chorionic Gonadotropin

HCG is used for two different purposes:

• During a cycle of steroids, to reduce the impact of low testosterone levels (such as testicular atrophy);
• As a means of launching the post-cycle therapy (PCT) after a cycle of steroids;
• If you have a condition in which there is not enough testosterone, then hCG will be used in combination with other medications.

When used during the course, hCG will be included in the set of anabolic steroids as a means of controlling side effects caused by low testosterone levels. It can be combined with one steroid or two.

When used as a means to start PCT, hCG is often used together with Clomid before it is removed from the course

Storage and application

HCG is purchased in the form of a powder. Then it must be mixed with bacteriostatic water and stored in the refrigerator for up to 60 days. Gonadotropin is administered by injection, intramuscularly or subcutaneously.

HCG Dosage Information

To avoid estrogenic side effects, it is recommended to adhere to the minimum dose. The dosage depends on the method of using hCG.

For bodybuilders who use hCG during a course of steroids to try to prevent testicular atrophy, a dose of about 250-500 IU, administered 2-3 times a week, is usually effective.

When taken as a means to start PCT, 500 IU of Gonadotropin is required daily for 10 days.

The half-life of hCG is approximately 3-4 days.

HCG Side Effects

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is one of the best tolerated medications on the market if you stick to the recommended dose. However, if you take too much, you will cause a sharp jump in estrogen, which can cause problems such as:

• Gynecomastia;
• Abdominal distention;
• Increased blood pressure.

Contraindications for use

Although hCG is considered one of the safest drugs, in some cases it is simply too risky. Anyone with any of the following conditions should refrain from taking hCG without first consulting a doctor:
